ZSL Series Horizontal MC Pressure Screen consists of closed rotor, screen cylinder, screen housing and driving device. According to different directions of inlet and outlet stock, there are two kinds of horizontal MC pressure screens. One is inflow screen, the other is outflow screen. In the inflow screen, the stock flows into screen cylinder through inlet pipe on the top of the housing of screen at driving side. With the rotation of
the closed rotor, the impurities are separated by the hole-typed or long-cut-typed screen cylinder. That is, accepts flow into the screen cylinder under the pressure of stock, and then flow out through the outlet pipe on the top of the housing of the screen at the cover side. The closed rotor side-rotates in accepts. Under the effect of vacuum pumping from the upper vane of the side-rotating rotor at the outlet of accepts, the
screen cylinder is washed. Rejects settle down along the inter wall of the screen housing with the centrifugal effect, and discharge through rejects outlet on the bottom of the screen. The discharging amount of rejects is about 10~20%.In the outflow screen, the stock flows out from the inner of the screen cylinder, and the rotor is located in the inlet end. The reject amount is about 20~40%.With closed rotor, it can be avoided from the overload of equipment or the damage of screen plate which results from the winding of string-like impurities on the rotor.High linear speed of the rotor not only forms intensive agitation and instant negative-pressure, but also speeds up the stock flow. By expanding the angle between the vector direction of the speed of rotor and the one of accepts' passing through the screening slot, the performance of
screening has been improved.When screening the medium consistency of the stock, ZSL Series Horizontal MC Pressure Screen can simplify setting the process equipments, rationalize the processing procedure and reduce the investment. Compared with the ordinary screen, ZSL Series Horizontal MC Pressure Screen consumes less water and requires less space.
